Branding Refresh for Cornell University's Veterinary College

The Problem:

The College of Veterinary Medicine had too many different logos and no system in place to provide guidance to the college, hospitals and business units within the college.

 

The Solution:

Refreshing the typeface in a unified wordmark across all units and create a sub-system within Cornell Universities brand guidelines.


What I worked on:

  • Research into the history of the logo/wordmark and how the brand is perceived today.

  • Interviews and presentations with stakeholders.

  • Brainstorming and ideation of the new wordmark.

  • Generation of over 200 plus branding assets including lockups, stationery and presentation templates.  

  • Coded/Designed and built new CVM brand website.

  • Conduct brand ambassador training.
